Morgan's Corporate Bank, where he served as an analyst supporting key relationships with Federal Agencies and Defense Contractors, developing analytical skills that would become foundational to his approach. Steve later applied his passion for efficiency to the startup ecosystem, where he worked alongside entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to modernize business processes and enhance operational frameworks. As the Head of Finance and Operations at Rancher Labs, his focus on streamlining systems contributed to the company's growth trajectory leading to its $600M acquisition by SUSE, while he helped draft the initial government proposal that later evolved into Rancher Federal. Before joining Matlock, Steve led Solution Engineering at CloudZero, an AWS premium partner, where he optimized client cloud solutions through data-driven methodologies. His dedicated approach to operational efficiency and system modernization strengthens Matlock's ability to deliver optimized solutions that meet evolving client needs.
