What is GSA MAS IT?

The Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) consolidates GSA’s product and service offerings into one single contract. This is a streamlined way for the defense agencies to acquire diverse solutions in multiple areas of focus. The IT schedule, specifically, procures information technology services, software and hardware. MAS provides a cleaner solution for both GSA and the authorized agencies.

The Benefits of GSA MAS are:

• Assured compliance of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Competition in Contracting Act (CICA) terms and conditions. It is required these are incorporated into the contract.
• Reduced administrative time/cost investment – no formal solicitation/proposal process needed for pre-negotiated contract ceiling rates to ensure fair and reasonable pricing
• Simplified acquisition procedures to issue a Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ) (cont.>)
• Customized terms and conditions at the task order level – or Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA) using GSA’s eBuy e-commerce system or through direct email to contractors.
